GTA V was released in 2013. The final stages of development were completed in the past weeks. However, GTA V’s biggest leak occurred just a few days after its release. GTA 6 gameplay footage has been shared, as it is well-known that the game was developed by Rockstar Games.
The world-famous Lapsus$ hacker team member who was believed to have been responsible for this leak was taken into custody the other day. However, today’s news brings new information. In the days that followed, the messages the hacker left for the person who contacted them were shared. The messages revealed that Rockstar also spent money on the game.
ROCKSTAR GTA6 – INCREDIBLE MONEY
According to hacker’s messages, Rockstar spent over $ 2 Billion on GTA 6 development since 2014. Additionally, the hacker included statements that showed he didn’t have access only to Rockstar Games.
Also, the hacker claimed he had access Kone, Brazil’s bank Banco do Brasil. He also claimed that Rockstar’s parent company Take2Games was his, as well as DoorDash food delivery service. He claimed to also have access to Revolut, a UK-based digital banking institution. Revolut issued a statement saying that it was hacked just four days after the message from the hacker. They also announced that the personal information of 0.16% 20 million customers of third parties had been accessed. However, no action was taken.
FOR NOW, IT’S JUST A STORY
It is important to note that the statements made are the rhetoric of the hacker. They also have the nature of allegations. It is not clear if the hacker actually had access to this information but his arrest does not necessarily mean that it is correct.
